Letter from Military Member...
"Dear Homefront San Diego:
First I want to thank you for your support of the military. It became a tangible for me when I was mobilized early this year. I ended up on the Iraq/Kuwait border for awhile. Now I'm doing Navy Customs work in Kuwait, "expediting our heroes home", as we say.
While away, recently, we had a major water leak in our homes foundation. My wife by e-mail was telling me about the problems she was having with the insurance company about getting the repairs done. Bottom line is they sent a rep to look at the situation and told her it wasn't covered under our policy. The news was disappointing and stressful for both of us. I felt very helpless to assist my wife with such a major problem while trying to stay focused on my job at hand here.
After getting no help within regular military channels, I suggested she contact Homefront San Diego to see if they could help. I am relieved and happy to say, they found a company that was able to help her repair the leak and the water damage. What a wonderful organization you promote. And what wonderful people/companies that step up to help.
After fighting the insurance companies, your organization has helped restore her faith in people and has certainly relieved a stressor for me while I am away from my family.
Thanks again for all you do for keeping us informed, keeping the conservative voice alive, and your unflinching support of San Diego military families.
I am honored to serve our republic and stand in the gap for freedom and my fellow citizens.
May God richly bless you, KOGO and all the Homefront volunteers.
Thank you and Merry Christmas,
Petty Officer Don from Kuwait
